A new Maya city of 60.000 buildings discovered in Mexico under the jungle
An ancient city of Maya has been discovered under the jungle in Mexico. 60.000 buildings among which a pyramid, have been identified. The discovery raises the maximum number of inhabitants possibli living, within a network of Maya cities up to 10 million, an unimaginable number, up to now.
The city has been mapped using laser techniques leading to a digital reproduction of the structures under the jungle coverage.
