TOWARDS HOLISTIC DIGITAL DOCUMENTATION
Abstract The emergence of a holistic approach to monument documentation is inextricably associated with the term ‘monument’, the quest of its meaning and its interpretation to the people involved in the documenta-tion of the past. The main reason is the necessity to set tangible heritage in its wider context, and relate it with its physical environment and its intangible aspects (spiritual, political and social values) [1–3].
