3D-Models, virtual reconstructions and interpreted point clouds are since some time omni-present in Architectural History and Building Archeology. Usually the underlying complexelaboration processes are not apparent in the result. Backed by the London Charter forthe computer-based visualisation of cultural heritage, there are a lot of efforts to integrate(1) information about human processes of understanding and interpretation of data ob-jects (paradata) and (2) information about semiautomated interpretation processes into a scientifically valid computer model. The international conference not just shows the state of the art. It aims to bring together major exponents in the field, to discuss emerging standards and to disseminate shared best practices which enable us to fully exploit the potential of digital Architectural History.
