The HECTOR research project is pleased to invite you to its International colloquium which will take place the 29th November 2017 in the Palace of the Academies in Brussels.
The colloquium « Trust (in) the Digital Transition » invites you to discover the research results of the HECTOR project. In addition, Belgian and international experts from the public and the private sector will share their experience. Together, they will consider how the legal framework, standards, and certification mechanisms can ensure trustworthy management and archiving of digital information.
The HECTOR research project (2014-2018), is the result of a partnership between the State Archives of Belgium, the Université de Namur, the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the Université de Montréal. Its main objective is to analyse the transformation, organization and preservation of the hybrid information management (paper-based and digital) within the Belgian federal administrations, in order to facilitate the transition towards a trusted, secure and efficient electronic administration.
