The 24rd EVA Berlin conference on Electronic Media and Art, Culture, History will be held from 8 to 10 November 2017. The EVA Berlin conference is an annual discussion forum for electronic documentation and visualization technologies in the field of cultural heritage applications. Ambitious digitization projects with regard to cultural context, network-based research and new technical opportunities for museums, libraries and archives are presented with a strong reference to their usage. It encourages the exchange between heritage institutions and technology providers, information professionals and the public administration on current issues and innovative technologies of the digital society. As in previous years the venue is the Kunstgewerbemuseum (Museum of Decorative Arts) at the Kulturforum Potsdamer Platz, Berlin’s culture Plaza (Matthäikirchplatz 8, 10785 Berlin). The program of the three-day conference  consists of two workshops, a two days conference, an exhibition of different techniques and projects as well as two evening events and reception. Conference: 3D Digital Heritage | Exploring Virtual Research Space for Art History

      June 19-20, 2017 | Humboldt University Berlin. Germany At the end of June Berlin will be the place to be for all of you interested in 3D, virtual reconstructions, augmented reality, virtual research. The Institut für Kunst- und Bildgeschichte (Institute for Art History and Visual Studies) of the Humboldt University Berlin and the Herder Institut für Ostmitteleuropaforschung (Herder Institute for Central-Eastern European Studies) are collaboratively organizing a conference about 3D Digital Heritage. The international conference will be all about exploring virtual research spaces for art history. In the frame of the conference two major focal point will be set on the Project on East Prussian Manor Houses: Practice and Methods and Spatial Modeling: Perspectives for Art History and Visual Studies.
