The Project Open Digital Library for Traditional Games and Sports, launched by UNESCO and Chinese mega-company Tencent, is officially presented today in UNESCO’s premises in Paris. Greece is one of the pilot-countries of the project, along with Mongolia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Kenya. The project forms an initiative for the preservation of traditional games and sports, part of the collective memory and intangible heritage of people around the world, and their continuation in the digital era.
