The ViMM Coordination and Support Action for virtual museums is supported under the EU Horizon 2020 programme, within the overall context of European policy and practice on Digital Cultural Heritage (DCH), to help meet its enormous potential for society and the economy.
Building upon the International Council of Museums’ (ICOM) definition of the Museum we are developing a working definition to describe the Virtual Museum (VM) and how this may be adapted by the professional Museum community. The current draft is here.
We would very much welcome your assistance in finalising this important task by providing your opinions and feedback through a short online survey before the end of October 2017.
